Especially
for
Graduate & Professional Alumni
Welcome to the Graduate Student Center! The Grad Center
was established in 2001 to meet the unique needs of graduate and professional
students at Penn. Our mission is to empower graduate and professional
students to create and participate in a graduate community at Penn. We
do this by creating intellectual, social, and professional development
programs; providing services to enhance life at Penn and in Philadelphia;
and providing graduate and professional students with a centrally-located
home that includes a lounge, computer lab, and meeting and event space.
If you have not been to the Graduate Student Center, we encourage you
to visit us at 3615 Locust Walk, in the heart of Penn's campus.
Below are a list a ways graduate and professional alumni can become more
involved with the Graduate Student Center and alumni life:

Career-Related Support
The Office of Career Services’ Penn Career Network offers alumni
in all fields the opportunity to share their experiences with other alumni
and undergraduate, graduate, and professional students interested in similar
careers. To learn about and register for the Penn Career Network, go to
the Career
Services website.
Career Services also surveys graduating Ph.D. and Master's students about
their careers plans upon graduation. If you have not yet filled out this
survey, please do! Your input provides valuable information to current
students as they plan their future. To fill out the survey, click here.

Provide Financial Support
The Graduate Student Center needs to continually develop resources to
fulfill a range of programmatic and facilities needs. The Grad Center
is currently supported with graduate student fees and additional funds
from the University. Your donation can free up University funds to support
other initiatives, such as stipends and classroom maintenance. You can
make a gift online in any amount by going to Penn's online
giving web site and clicking on the Graduate Student Center Gift Fund.
Or, send a check payable to "Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania"
to: Anita Mastroieni, Director, Graduate Student Center, 3615 Locust Walk,
Philadelphia, PA 19104-6221.
