Fairmount Park Art Assoc. Development Intern
DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP AVAILABLE

The Fairmount Park Art Association seeks a Development Intern for Spring 2008 to assist the Development Manager with grant writing, research, and the creation of promotional materials. This is a great opportunity to learn more about public art, fundraising, and nonprofit administration.

About the Fairmount Park Art Association: Chartered in 1872, the Fairmount Park Art Association is the nation's first private, nonprofit public art organization. For more than a century, the Art Association has worked with communities and public agencies to commission and place an imposing array of outstanding and beloved works of public art throughout the park and city. Our projects include masterworks such as Frederic Remington's Cowboy on Kelly Drive, Albert Laessle's Billy in Rittenhouse Square, and Joan of Arc by Emmanuel Frémiet, as well as contemporary projects such as Mark di Suvero's monumental Iroquois, which we recently brought to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. For more information about the Art Association, visit our website: www.fpaa.org
