Our one-on-one matching program connects grad students who are currently applying for grants with Grant Advisors who have won specific grants in the past. There is no fee associated with this program.
To use this service, you must have already prepared a written draft of your grant proposal. A Grant Advisor will meet with an applicant for one hour to review the proposal and offer constructive criticism, insight, and advice. This meeting is intended as an opportunity for you to 'workshop' your grant application with someone who has been sucessful with the same grant! One additional hour session may be scheduled in consultation with your Peer-to-Peer advisor. This additional hour must be pre-approved by Grad Center staff and is at their discretion for special circumstances only. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to request an additional hour, if necessary.
You will be notified about the status of your request within 5 business days.
We will make every effort to match all applicants with Grant Advisors, but this service relies on the availability of our team of volunteers and as such, you are not guaranteed a one-on-one session.
Please make sure to submit your request at least 2 weeks prior to your fellowship deadline. You will be notified about the status of your request within 5 business days.
