Navigating the Dissertation is an innovative student-initiated
interdisciplinary workshop series created by students, faculty, and staff
from across the university. For the past three years, the Graduate Student
Center has run the Navigating the Dissertation series of lectures and
workshops with the goal of guiding graduate students through the various
stages of the This semester our schedule will include ten workshops and discussion panels aimed to support doctoral students throughout the University as they embark on the dissertation journey. Workshops will address a range of crucial and practical elements of the dissertation process. Sessions are designed to support doctoral students at any and all stages. Workshops -- Program descriptions, schedule of workshops, and additional information about our workshop series.Dissertation Boot Camp -- Program description, boot camp schedule, and additional information. Resources -- Helpful sources of information and advice on all aspects of graduate life and the dissertation process. Message Boards -- A great place for those immersed in the day-to-day of graduate life. Go here to discuss, complain, seek or offer advice, chat and empathize with other students going through the same thing. Everyone and anyone is welcome to participate in our forums about different aspects of graduate studies. Fun Stuff Laugh at yourself and those around you with these entertaining looks at graduate life and the dissertation process.
