Give Back to Philadelphia Youth with the Penn-Edison Program
The Penn-Edison Partnership is a long-standing academic enrichment program consisting of both
graduate and undergraduate volunteers across the University. On Monday mornings each week, volunteers work with 12th graders at Edison-Fareira High School in North Philly, helping them develop their reading and writing skills and also giving some guidance on the college application process. The group usually leaves campus by 9 AM and return by 11:30 AM. While the time commitment is not great, you can have a tremendous impact. Come help local youth while developing your teaching skills, whether or not you've taught before. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY to participate!! For more information or to volunteer, contact Nicole Maurantonio.
