Family Workshop: Dig This!
Saturday, 10 May; 12-2pm; Penn Museum, 3260 South St.
Families can learn by doing—by excavating a mock archaeological 'site.' Gain exposure to field archaeology techniques through hands-on excavation of the created site, and analyze artifacts in the 'lab.' As a group, interpret the site using the artifacts found and discuss how the experience translates to real site work.
